**Mechanical Design Engineer Role**

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the design team, you will be responsible for creating detailed designs, prototypes, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

  • Proficient in 3D modeling, assembly, and 2D drawing creation using software such as CREO.
  • Strong knowledge of design concept generation, plastic, and sheet metal design.
  • Experience with product development lifecycle management (PDM) tools like Windchill is desired.
  • Familiarity with design for manufacturability (DFM), design for assembly (DFA), and tolerance analysis.
  • Knowledge of GD&T and prototyping processes.
  • Understanding of raw materials for plastics and sheet metal, including their applications and manufacturing processes.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 2-4 years of relevant experience.
