About this role

As a backend developer, you will work on building scalable APIs and microservices for an end-to-end healthcare experience.

The platform includes hospital management software, mobile apps, AI-driven insights, and real-time wearable/device data integration – all aligned with national health standards.

Key responsibilities include developing backend microservices for hospital workflows, patient records, lab integrations, pharmacy, and billing.

Additionally, you will build and optimize REST/GraphQL APIs for mobile apps and hospital dashboards, work with databases and object storage to manage large-scale health data, and implement FHIR-based data exchange for interoperability with national health APIs.

Security, consent, and compliance are essential in every data flow. You will collaborate with frontend and mobile developers to deliver role-based applications, participate in training, code reviews, and deployment cycles, and have the opportunity to learn quickly and solve problems with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

  • Strong fundamentals in coding, computer science, databases, and API integration
  • Familiarity with Node.js / Python
  • Ability to think independently and solve complex problems
