Backend Development Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer to join our technology team.

  • This is a full-time remote position that requires strong skills in Node.js and TypeScript.
  • You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimising scalable and secure backend systems.
  • Additionally, you will contribute to frontend development using React and Next.js to complement backend capabilities.

About the Role

  • As a key member of our team, you will work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, UX Designers, and other developers to deliver robust end-to-end solutions.
  • You will also mentor junior team members on backend and frontend development best practices and collaborate on DevOps integration and automation.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in building scalable distributed backend systems using Node.js and TypeScript.
  • Proficiency in developing user interfaces using React, Next.js, and modern frontend frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservice architecture, and API design.
  • Expertise in creating secure, scalable RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL endpoints.
  • Experience working on high-traffic platforms or products serving 1 million+ users.
  • Proven ability to mentor junior team members and lead by example.
