Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced Content Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in reviewing movies and writing engaging content.

  • Cover theatrical/OTT reviews on a monthly basis, providing insightful analysis and critique of various film releases.
  • Write entertainment articles for major publications, meeting assigned targets and categories.
  • Cover media events in Mumbai and be willing to travel to other cities as required.
  • Develop a portfolio of online reviews for reputable platforms, showcasing expertise and byline.
  • Build relationships with PRs and remain a regular invitee to their media events.
  • Conduct interviews with cast and crew members, capturing video/audio/print content.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in reviewing movies and writing content.
  • A solid command of the English language, vocabulary, and grammar.
  • Familiarity with WordPress and basic knowledge of SEO/SMM practices.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts and at odd times as required.
  • Able to understand and prioritize content that matters.
  • Excellent editing skills, with attention to detail in proofreading grammar and language.
  • A thorough understanding of target audience needs and preferences.
  • Ability to create engaging content that resonates with readers.
  • Bonus points for experience with video content creation.
