Key Responsibilities:

  • We're seeking an expert in automation to join our team and oversee the design and implementation of test harnesses for Automation Testing.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in designing/architecting test automation frameworks and developing new libraries using automation tools.
  • They should also be skilled in creating regression test packs using frontend & backend test scripts and executing them with precision.
  • In addition, the selected candidate will implement QA processes and automated testing for all work streams to improve the overall testing cycle.
  • Continuous upskilling of the team is essential, so we encourage candidates with a passion for learning and development.
  • Assistance with automation test planning is a key requirement, along with utilizing appropriate testing tools for both front-end and back-end Quality Assurance.
  • Identifying and capturing test data to support defined test cases is crucial, as well as ensuring reusability of test scripts across projects.
  • Finally, setting up/management, monitoring, and streamlining release management to QA Environments is vital.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Detailed knowledge of Domain Experience: Retail Ecommerce
  • Desirable experience: 12 to 20 years
  • Order-to-Cash / Procure-to-Pay flows expertise
  • ERP-SAP touchpoints in retail, including validating data or workflows between retail front-end systems and ERP backends
  • Stock Keeping Unit: Inventory sync, PoS integrations
  • Supply chain testing, specifically procurement, inventory, or logistics
  • Order management, from order placement to fulfillment, with a focus on tested order processing flows

Automation Expertise:

  • Hands-on experience with ERP automation and frontend-backend validations
  • Framework architecture (hybrid, API, data-driven)
  • Tooling decisions (Selenium, Cypress, Katalon, REST Assured)
  • Handling complex test scenarios across UI, API, and ERP systems
  • ERP automation, test data management, CI/CD

Strategic Thinking:

  • Mentioning automation KPIs or outcomes (cost, release, defect leakage)
  • AI/ML/PoC exposure and modern strategies (AI, LLL, hyper automation)

Note:

  • Candidates should have at least 12 years of experience in retail ecommerce and be knowledgeable about Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay flows.
  • Experience with ERP automation, tooling decisions, and handling complex test scenarios is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML/PoC exposure and modern strategies is also essential.
