Backend Development Position

Our company seeks a skilled Backend Developer to work on exciting projects in the video and OTT space.

As a key member of our engineering team, you will design and build new features using SCRUM/Agile methodologies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and leverage cloud services, containers, and virtual machines for infrastructure management.

  • Develop high-performance and scalable backend services using .NET 8/.NET Framework.
  • Design and implement REST APIs with Web API, utilizing multithreading and parallelization techniques.
  • Work with NoSQL databases (preferably MongoDB) and SQL relational databases (preferably MS SQL).
  • Collaborate with engineers to enhance engineering processes and stay up-to-date with the latest .NET technologies.
  • Implement continuous integration and deployment setup, leveraging tools like GitHub Actions & Workflows and Flux.

Required Skills:

  • Proficient in .NET 8/.NET Framework.
  • Strong understanding of building REST APIs with Web API.
  • Hands-on experience with multithreading and parallelization.
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases (preferably MongoDB).
  • Knowledge of SQL and relational databases (preferably MS SQL).
  • Experience with designing high-performance and scalable services.
  • Exposure to microservices and event-driven architecture.
  • Understanding of cloud technologies (AWS preferred).
  • Experience with Docker and container orchestration (ECS/EKS a plus).
  • Ability to write and maintain unit, integration, and component tests.
  • Good understanding of HTTP, caching mechanisms, and service discovery.
  • Familiarity with modern communication technologies like gRPC and Apache Kafka.
  • Problem-solving mindset for tackling complex technical challenges.
  • Knowledge of in-memory key-value databases like Redis.
  • Proficiency in Git and scripting with PowerShell/Bash.
  • Experience with continuous integration tools.
  • Previous experience with streaming protocols or video processing libraries is a plus.
