Real Estate Finance Expert

This role involves the implementation and configuration of a real estate management system for end-to-end contract and lease management. Compliance with international financial reporting standards is ensured, and integration with various business modules is supported.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Implement and configure the real estate management system
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS 16 lease accounting requirements
  • Support integration with finance, materials management, project systems, and asset accounting
  • Define master data structures for business entities, buildings, land, and rental objects
  • Automate contract conditions, periodic postings, and payment flows
  • Collaborate with finance teams to align postings and valuations
  • Support period-end closing and reconciliations in the real estate management system
  • Develop functional specifications for enhancements, reports, and interfaces
  • Train users on the real estate management system's functionality and reporting

Requirements & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, real estate, or IT
  • SAP certification in S/4HANA finance or RE-FX
  • 6+ years of experience in implementing and supporting real estate management systems
  • Strong knowledge of lease accounting (IFRS 16/ASC 842)
  • Experience in integrating with FI-AA, FI/CO, and MM
  • Exposure to migration projects from classic to RE-FX
  • Knowledge of S/4HANA innovations in real estate
