Senior Construction Project Lead

Lead large-scale residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects from conceptualization through QA and handover. Ensure efficient project delivery by overseeing planning, scheduling, coordination, procurement, contracts, architecture, design, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish project baselines, schedules, and reporting mechanisms to manage project scope and timeline.
  • Conduct contract familiarization, attend project kickoff meetings, and prepare resource plans and site organization charts.
  • Review construction schedules, develop site infrastructure requirements, and budget costs effectively.
  • Participate in 3D model reviews, constructability studies, and provide construction-related inputs to ensure project feasibility.
  • Coordinate engineering disciplines, estimate costs, prepare tenders, analyze technical bids, and participate in price negotiations with contractors.
  • Set up site offices and infrastructure, monitor resource availability, and track construction materials.
  • Oversee billing schedules, progress reviews, contractor bill processing, and subcontracts closeout to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Resolve technical and contractual site queries, manage documentation for claims/escalations, and prepare completion reports with lessons learned.
  • Lead and guide project managers, refine project management processes, and drive project efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor schedules, cost, quality, and performance; identify risks and mitigation plans to maintain project momentum.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication, decision-making, and technical field skills.
  • Expert coordination of cost, time, and quality parameters; MIS reporting; contractor billing and rate negotiation.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Projects, and Primavera.
  • Fast-track planning abilities and out-of-the-box thinking to address complex project challenges.
