Working as a Deputy Manager Trade Analyst, you will be responsible for overseeing process-related aspects and commercial animation of India to MEG and/or LATAM sectors with the goal of developing and maintaining processes excellence and supporting commercial monitoring activities.

We are seeking a proactive individual who is a team player, meticulous, and has a strong desire to learn & develop their skills in trade activities by joining two fast-growing trades from India.


Key Responsibilities:


Assist the back-office team in booking release processes by mastering & optimizing allocation control tools (CSA, COA, Traffic lights). Monitor and analyze vessel performance, loading factors, daily positions, and allocation.

In-depth analysis of the booking report in terms of commodities, customers, destinations, allocation.
Proactively source market intelligence (rates/capacity adjustments) to stay informed about market changes.
Recommend necessary actions to maximize the filing factor to the Trade Manager.
Leverage quotation tools (SpotON, AQUA Contract) to adapt to market dynamics.
In-depth analysis of the daily cargo readiness report in terms of commodities, customers, destinations, allocation.

Assist the Trade team in pricing activities (rate negotiation, rate filing). Communicate timely updates to the commercial team on service rotation changes, rate revisions, etc.

Maintain effective relationships & communication with internal & external stakeholders.
Requirements:


Bachelor's degree holder. 3-5 years of working experience in shipping or / and logistics industry preferred. Shipping process-related experience beneficial for successfully managing the position.

Process-oriented approach required along with analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills and customer orientation also essential.
