Job Title: Tax Consultant

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented professional to join our team in a tax advisory role.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical abilities, technical knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Manage complex tax assignments, client advisory, compliance, and assist in litigation support.
  • Work on advisory assignments relating to direct tax and transfer pricing.
  • Conduct benchmarking studies and economic analysis.
  • Draft submissions for tax authorities and assist in handling tax assessments/litigation.
  • Provide support in structuring cross-border transactions from a tax perspective.
  • Liaise with clients, tax authorities, and other stakeholders effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory timelines and requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of direct taxation laws and transfer pricing regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent drafting and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Strong client management skills.

Preferred Candidate:

  • Chartered Accountant, qualified.
  • 3–6 years of relevant post-qualification experience in Transfer Pricing & Direct Tax.
  • Prior experience in consulting firms or tax advisory will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

This role involves managing complex tax assignments, client advisory, compliance, and assisting in litigation support. You will also work on advisory assignments relating to direct tax and transfer pricing, conduct benchmarking studies and economic analysis, draft submissions for tax authorities, and provide support in structuring cross-border transactions from a tax perspective.
