Job Role

As a valuation professional, you will play a key role in the assessment of businesses and their assets.

  • We seek an experienced expert to analyze historical financial results of target companies, identify business trends, and assess risks.
  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in analyzing and challenging assumptions related to future financial projections, developing discount rates, and conducting financial statement analysis.
  • You will perform market research, develop industry growth estimates, construct and review valuation models, and present analyses to management and clients.
  • This is a great opportunity to work closely with team members, direct engagement activities, and provide guidance as needed.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration required; advanced degree and/or certifications such as MBA, CA, or CFA preferred.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience performing work related to fair value, debt, equity, purchase price allocation, and goodwill impairments in a public accounting, consulting, or investment banking environment.
  • A fundamental understanding of financial valuation theory, methodologies, and experience in traditional valuation methods such as discounted cash flow method, guideline public company method, and guidance transaction method.
  • Experience in valuing contingent consideration, mergers & acquisitions, and other transactions.
  • Comprehensive experience with financial databases such as Capital IQ, Bloomberg, and other high-level tools.
  • Track record of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Functional understanding of financial statements analysis with ability to work through key assumptions, implicit caveats, and limitations.
  • Demonstrated technical skills working with financial models in Excel.
