Job Overview

The Senior Team Lead plays a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our web domain project. This includes developing test strategies, overseeing the overall quality of the project, and managing the QA team.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive test plans, processes, and frameworks for web applications.
  • Lead and mentor the QA team, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Manage testing for high-traffic and high-visibility client sites, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Design and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts to optimize efficiency.
  • Oversee API and performance testing, guaranteeing the highest standards of quality.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define testing requirements and deliverables, driving business outcomes.
  • Ensure adherence to industry best practices and quality standards.
  • Manage the QA team's workload, prioritizing tasks and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate testing tools and technologies to drive innovation.
Requirements
  • 8 - 10 years of experience in software QA testing, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent analytical and logical skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Relevant work experience in manual testing of web applications, with a strong understanding of user experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of automated testing using Selenium or an alternate automation tool.
  • Good understanding of web and mobile-based projects, with experience in cross-platform development.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas simply.
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, driving results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ideal candidate will have experience working with Linux environments and Agile methodologies.
Technical Skills
  • Manual testing, API testing, functional testing, web testing, mobile testing, comprehensive testing knowledge.
  • Test strategy and planning, automation expertise, web technologies, API and performance testing.
  • Database and backend testing, version control, CI/CD, leadership and project management, tool selection and optimization.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • Certifications in software testing, such as ISTQB or CMMI, are highly valued.
