Senior Financial Operations Manager

The Senior Financial Operations Manager plays a vital role in overseeing financial processes globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Process Management: Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with international standards.
  • Technical Expertise: Ensure compliance with international accounting standards and provide technical guidance on complex financial issues.
  • Risk Management: Develop and implement robust internal controls to mitigate risks and ensure financial integrity across all regions.
  • Global Audit Coordination: Lead the annual external audit process, coordinating with auditors and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Preparation of Group consolidation under international standards.
  • Transfer Pricing Strategy: Oversee and optimize global transfer pricing policies to ensure compliance with international regulations and tax efficiency.
  • Shared Service Center Development: Establish, manage, and optimize shared service centers in APAC and LATAM to centralize financial operations and drive efficiency.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously improve financial processes, automation, and reporting frameworks to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with regional finance teams, legal, and other departments to drive financial compliance and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • CPA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent financial certification.
  • 10+ years of experience in financial control, accounting, or audit, preferably within a multinational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of international accounting standards and local GAAP.
  • Proven experience managing global financial close processes (month-end, quarter-end, year-end).
  • Experience managing global audits and working with Big Four audit firms ideally.
  • Expertise in transfer pricing policies and compliance.
  • Proven track record in implementing internal controls and risk management strategies.
  • Experience in establishing and managing shared service centers.
  • Experience working in a Private Equity (PE) or multinational/international environment, with a strong understanding of reporting requirements.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
  • Experience with ERP solutions, ideally SAP B-1.
