Senior Financial Executive Job Description

This is a key leadership role in our organization, focusing on financial planning, budgeting, and strategy.

Financial Planning & Budgeting:
  • Lead the preparation, review, and update of business plans and financial forecasts in collaboration with senior management.
  • Develop, manage, and monitor the annual budget process to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
Management Information Systems (MIS):
  • Prepare and present accurate financial reports and MIS to management, analyzing performance to support strategic decision-making.
Accounts Preparation:
  • Oversee the preparation of quarterly, half-yearly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and legal requirements.
  • Ensure accuracy in financial records, coordinating year-end closings.
Internal & Statutory Audits:
  • Coordinate internal and statutory audits, ensuring adherence to internal controls, compliance, and operational standards.
  • Implement corrective actions to address audit findings.
Taxation & Compliance:
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with all tax obligations, including GST, corporate taxes, and related matters.
  • Oversight of tax assessments, filing, and disputes in coordination with external tax consultants.
Cash Flow & Treasury Management:
  • Manage cash flow and banking relationships for credit facilities and day-to-day operations.
  • Control treasury function, ensuring sufficient cash flow for daily operations, adequate funds for future operations, and effective deployment of surplus funds.
Investor Relations:
  • Ensure transparency in communication with investors and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
ERP Systems & Technological Advancements:
  • Leverage ERP platforms to streamline financial processes.
  • Explore and implement AI and ML technologies to enhance reporting, forecasting, and overall financial operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Chartered Accountant qualification is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 10-12 years in finance or accounting, with at least 7-8 years in a senior role.
  • Proven expertise in budgeting, tax management, auditing, and compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP platforms.
  • Knowledge of AI and ML applications in finance.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent command over English language.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.

We offer a competitive salary package commensurate with qualifications and experience. The expected CTC is between Rs. 26 lakh to Rs. 34 lakh per annum.

Working Conditions
  • The working days will be Monday to Saturday, with the 2nd and 4th Saturdays off.
  • Official working hours will tentatively be 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
  • Employee must commute to work in their own vehicle.
