Cloud Transformation Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Cloud Transformation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions that drive business growth and innovation.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud engineering, with experience in large-scale cloud transformation projects. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining cloud infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement cloud-based solutions using GCP services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, and Cloud Storage.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure automation and self-service capabilities.
  • Maintain Terraform-based infrastructure as code and support container platform adoption (e.g., Kubernetes).
  • Collaborate with security teams to design controls and governance policies around the GCP platform.
  • Conduct training sessions to educate end users on services and automation capabilities.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of GCP services, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, and Cloud Storage.
  • Experience with cloud security best practices and tools (e.g., IAM, Cloud Armor, Cloud Security Command Center).
  • Proficiency in writing infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines, preferably with Terraform, Ansible, and Bash.
  • Hands-on experience working with Kubernetes (GKE) and managing containers in both Windows and Linux environments.
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, and Nexus for pipeline automation and artifact management.
