Technical Delivery Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Technical Delivery Manager to oversee the successful delivery of complex technical solutions and projects. As a key member of our team, you will manage cross-functional teams, coordinate between technical and business stakeholders, and ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of multiple technical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Define project plans, manage timelines, and ensure clear communication of project progress and risks to all stakeholders.
  • Ensure that technical requirements are fully captured, aligned with business goals, and converted into well-defined project deliverables.
  • Act as the key liaison between development, QA, operations, and business teams to facilitate smooth project delivery.
  • Mitigate risks proactively and implement effective solutions to resolve project issues or delays.
  • Manage and mentor cross-functional teams, including software engineers, testers, business analysts, and other technical staff.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, clients, and senior leadership, ensuring clear and timely communication regarding project status, milestones, and risks.
  • Implement and uphold Agile Scrum or other relevant project management methodologies to ensure project delivery efficiency and transparency.
  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, developing contingency plans and taking corrective action when necessary.
  • Proactively manage change requests and adjust project plans to accommodate shifts in scope, timelines, or budgets.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in IT project management, technical delivery management, or a related field, with a strong background in software development or systems integration.
  • A proven track record of successfully delivering complex technical projects in an Agile environment.
  • Experience in managing large-scale enterprise-level projects with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) processes, including Agile Scrum or other methodologies.
  • Expertise in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps practices is highly desirable.
  • Experience with risk management, change management, and resource management.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and guide teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, capable of translating complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution abilities, with the capability to influence decisions at senior levels.
  • Indepth knowledge of software development methodologies, architecture frameworks, and technology stacks (e.g., Java, .NET, Python, etc.).
  • Familiarity with modern tools and platforms, such as Jira, Confluence, Trello, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Solid understanding of data management, database technologies (SQL/NoSQL), and integration methods (APIs, microservices).
