Senior Credit Auditor Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Credit Auditor to conduct thorough credit audits of our Wholesale Banking segment and SMEs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of credit risk management, audit processes, and regulatory requirements. This individual will lead or participate in business credit audits, ensuring timely commencement and closure while maintaining high-quality documentation of working papers.

A key responsibility of this role will be the preparation and submission of comprehensive audit reports within stipulated time frames. Additionally, the successful candidate will ensure timely submissions of RBI data, Tranche III, and any other regulatory requirements.

This senior auditor will coordinate with concurrent auditors to guarantee the quality of concurrent audit reports. Furthermore, they will examine and provide comfort to the Team Lead Audit on all developments related to credit areas, providing assurance on regulatory and control requirements.

Key responsibilities include devising audit checklists for internal and concurrent auditors, testing processes and procedures to identify potential pitfalls, and ensuring these are audited and resolved. Finally, the candidate will provide suggestions for process improvement to line management.

To excel in this position, you should possess excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as a solid understanding of banking regulations and credit risk management principles.
