  • Job Role and Responsibilities:

    ">

  • Develop detailed financial models to analyze historical financial statements in MS Excel.

    ">

  • Candidates should have a strong understanding of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, cash flow statements, and financial ratios to assess the financial performance of public and private companies.

    ">

  • Identify key performance indicators (KPIs), emerging trends, relevant industry updates, competitive environment, associated risks, and relevant valuation metrics to provide an overview and conclude investment theses on companies under coverage.

    ">

  • Develop a deep understanding of financial projections based on financial statements, management briefings, company budgets, and estimates. This includes normalizing financial statements, creating various scenarios like management cases, sponsor cases, upside cases, and downside cases, etc.

  • Candidates should have a solid grasp of various classes of debt and financing options used by borrowers for deals. Prepare liquidation-based recovery analyses for various debt pieces using recovery values for each asset type.

  • Support ad hoc research requests and collaborate with other team members.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • ">

  • CA/CFA cleared all three levels, with 4-6 years of experience in financial modeling, LBO models, DCF/relative valuations.

    ">

  • Strong accounting and financial analysis skills, as well as English writing skills.

    ">

  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel.
