Software Project Management Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive software project management professional to oversee the successful delivery of complex software projects. This role involves managing the complete project lifecycle, ensuring timely execution, managing cross-functional teams, and maintaining the highest quality standards.

  • Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder expectations.
  • Create detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and milestones, to ensure on-time and high-quality delivery.
  • Lead and manage the full project lifecycle to guarantee successful project outcomes, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and QA engineers, to drive project progress and achieve desired results.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across all team members, leveraging active listening skills and conflict resolution techniques.
  • Provide performance feedback, mentorship, and day-to-day support to the team, promoting individual growth and development.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders, including clients, management, and vendors, ensuring seamless communication and issue resolution.
  • Align stakeholder expectations with project goals and timelines, proactively managing expectations and minimizing conflicts.
  • Deliver regular status updates, reports, and presentations to key stakeholders, showcasing project progress and achievements.
  • Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies to prevent or minimize their impact on project outcomes.
  • Proactively manage issues, bottlenecks, and dependencies, applying problem-solving and analytical skills to resolve complex challenges.
  • Ensure projects stay within scope, budget, and deadlines, maintaining a keen focus on project governance and risk management.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet internal and client quality standards, adhering to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and advocate for project management best practices and methodologies, driving organizational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct post-project reviews and document key learnings, analyzing successes and areas for improvement to inform future project planning and execution.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, with a minimum of 6+ years of experience in software project management or a related role. A Master's degree or PMP certification is highly valued. Strong leadership, team coordination, and multitasking abilities are essential, along with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills are also required. Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Trello, MS Project, and working knowledge of C++ & Java projects are necessary for success in this role.
