Engineer for Mechanical Systems Design

About the Position:

We seek a skilled Engineer to design mechanical systems and products. The Engineer will be responsible for developing detailed designs, analyzing mechanical systems, and collaborating with teams.

  • Develop comprehensive designs using computer-aided design (CAD) tools like Creo and SolidWorks.
  • Create detailed designs and drawings for mechanical components and assemblies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets requirements.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of mechanical systems to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 2-12 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in New Product Development (NPD) and Electromechanical product design.
  • Proficiency in CAD tools such as Creo, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD.
  • Experience in Product Data Management (PDM)/Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools and Bill of Materials.
  • Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and stack-up analysis.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing methods and material selection.
  • Familiarity with electrical components and circuit design.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in semiconductor products and sheet metal design.
  • Extensive experience in Creo and SAP/ECTR.
  • Knowledge of Windchill and Teamcenter.
  • Good understanding of plating's, coating, and surface finish requirements.
  • BOM preparation and manufacturing drawings knowledge.
