Job Title: Pharmacy Operations Manager

Are you a skilled pharmacist looking for a challenging role in retail pharmacy operations?

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented professional to manage our pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and providing expert advice to customers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, overseeing stock management, and coordinating deliveries. A strong knowledge of prescription decoding, medical abbreviations, and handwriting recognition is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense medications accurately and provide clear explanations regarding usage
  • Manage stock levels, sourcing unavailable medications from in-house pharmacies when necessary
  • Provide detailed information on medication usage, potential side effects, and health advice to patients
  • Coordinate delivery requests, maintaining accurate records and following up on timely delivery
  • Handle customer inquiries, providing drug information, patient education, and responding to medication concerns
  • Assist with cash transactions and billing as needed
  • Ensure proper storage and security measures are in place for all medications
  • Verify received stock, checking quantity, MRP, batch number, and expiry date before entering data into the system
  • Accurately input stock data into the system and cross-check received items against inventory records
  • Perform regular physical stock counts and verify fast-moving items
  • Ensure compliance with state and national pharmacy laws, regulations, and industry best practices

Requirements & Skills:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharm)
  • Valid pharmacist license as per state or national regulations
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a retail pharmacy setting
