Job Title

We are looking for a skilled Community Developer to join our team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for building and growing our community across cities. This includes designing and implementing programs that engage members, promote local content, and foster collaboration among creators and community leaders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Community Building: Design and implement city-based WhatsApp groups, creator clubs, and interest-based channels (e.g., foodies, readers, artists).
  • Program Development: Launch and moderate hyperlocal hubs—supporting events, creators, and contributors across categories.
  • Event Planning: Build a calendar of offline meetups, pop-ups, club events, and Cityscope-powered gatherings (book clubs, walking tours, screenings, etc.).
  • Engagement Strategies: Develop rituals, challenges, and activities that keep members engaged and inspired.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2–4 years in community management, creator relations, social media, or cultural programming.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of WhatsApp-first communities, digital tools, or city-based networks; experience in organizing offline events, managing contributors, or running community-led initiatives.
  • Personal Qualities: Self-Starter: prototype and make things happen; Empathetic Leader: great listener and people feel heard and supported around you; Culture-Obsessed: tuned into what's trending, but care deeply about the local, the real, the raw; Systems Thinker: enjoy building structures that help others thrive—on and off the internet.
