Job Title: Senior Big Data Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a talented and accomplished data engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in big data engineering, excellent technical skills, and a passion for innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data processing systems using technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Data Lake.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and design data pipelines that meet those needs.
  • Develop and implement efficient ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
  • Collaborate with data scientists to develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms.
  • Maintain high levels of data quality, security, and integrity.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of experience in big data engineering, with a strong focus on scalability, performance, and reliability.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience with data transformation tools such as SSIS and Azure Data Factory.
  • Expertise in cloud-based data platforms such as Azure Stack, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, including data modeling, ETL, and dimensional modeling.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
