Software Systems Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Software Systems Engineer to join our team.

This role will be responsible for designing and implementing secure software systems that meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. A key aspect of this position is ensuring that security controls are integrated into CI/CD pipelines, including GitLab CI, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.

  • Design and implement secure software systems using DevOps security practices.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of ISO 27001, SOC 2 (Type I and II), and NIST SP 800-53.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure configuration and governance controls in cloud-native environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native security, container orchestration, and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Helm, or Ansible.
  • Apply solid knowledge of access management, encryption, logging/monitoring, and network security principles to design and implement secure software systems.
  • Lead technical initiatives and work cross-functionally to influence at all levels.
  • Communicate effectively through excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience writing policies and technical documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, or AWS Security Specialty.
  • Experience with compliance automation platforms.
  • Background in regulated industries such as fintech, healthcare, or government.
