Compensation and Benefits Expert

This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with extensive experience in compensation and benefits, having worked in various organizations. They should have expertise in budgeting, vendor assessment, data requirement gathering, project management, and process design & governance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement compensation structures that attract and retain top talent while maintaining compliance and control over costs.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and managers to educate them on the compensation philosophy, policies, and structures.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to inform compensation decisions and develop competitive salary surveys.
  • Design and execute technology roadmaps for Market Intelligence & Annual Planning and Total Rewards CoE.
  • Maintain focus on compensation management activities, understanding unique characteristics of state entities with diverse missions.
  • Undertake job evaluations to ensure fair pay differences between jobs within the organization.

Benefits Operations:

  • Drive wellbeing and benefits operations to enable the successful implementation of health and mental wellbeing policies and programs.
  • Define problem statements, goal setting, performance management, escalation management, and coaching/mentoring of operations teams across health, wellbeing, and operations functions.
  • Work closely with senior leadership, HR, HQ Benefits, and Wellbeing teams to build consensus and support for the India Health and Wellbeing Strategy.
  • Focus on communication and branding of all associate benefits.
  • Drive insurance renewal for the entity.
  • Develop an approach for administering health and wellbeing programs in collaboration with local and global teams.
  • Drive vendor market intelligence across the broader benefits portfolio and help optimize ROI.
  • Manage multiple vendors/services contracts and renewal.
  • Lead internal governance of functional metrics and health/insurance dashboards.
  • Drive finalization of annual engagement calendar in partnership with site excellence and enable implementation of events in conjunction with the global and India team.
  • Work with leaders, HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, and the leadership team to communicate and amplify the Benefits philosophy and educate team members on the value of Total Rewards.
  • Manage and monitor health and wellbeing budgets and insurance.
  • Own and drive company-wide special projects aligned to team/organizational needs.
