Job Description

The UX Creative Lead will be responsible for conceptualizing original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks. They will collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience.

  • Conceptualize and execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
  • Work together with the client and UX designer to establish a common vision.
  • Research target audience and get to know the user personas.
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
  • Design screens, buttons, scrollbars, and other navigational elements.
  • Prototyping and testing.
  • Liaise with developers to ensure correct implementation.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • BS/MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, and/or Graphic Design.
  • 3-4 years of proven UI experience with a strong portfolio.
  • Experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps.
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, OmniGraffle, or other visual design and wire-framing tools.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.
  • Proficiency in User Research and Personas.
  • Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
  • Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
  • Good communication skills and an ability to work in a team.
