Backend Software Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Backend Software Engineer to develop and maintain robust server-side applications using modern technologies.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js and NestJS framework.
  • Create and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Develop database schemas, queries, and optimizations in PostgreSQL.
  • Collaborate with frontend engineers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
  • Implement automated testing strategies including unit and integration tests.
  • Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues in production environments.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical decision-making.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in backend development.
  • Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Hands-on experience with NestJS framework.
  • Solid experience working with PostgreSQL database.
  • Understanding of RESTful API design principles.
  • Experience with version control systems (Git).
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, or similar).
  • Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
