Role Overview

This is a senior-level position for an experienced Java developer to join our dynamic and friendly Development Team.

You will be well placed to make significant contributions to the mobile payments industry by bringing engineering excellence in innovating new features and functions in customer-centric applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, secure backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Build and manage RESTful APIs and microservices for fintech and payment systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and compliance.
  • Lead the design of system architecture and database schema for complex, data-driven applications.
  • Continuously optimize code and infrastructure for performance, scalability, maintainability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with frontend, DevOps, QA, UI/UX, and product teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery.
Requirements:
  • 7–10 years of strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, and REST API development.
  • Proficiency with Oracle DB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL, including complex queries and database performance optimization.
  • Deep understanding of backend architecture, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
Skill Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Strong Java skills, with experience in developing scalable and secure backend applications.
  • Knowledge of Spring Boot and RESTful API development.
  • Experience with database management, including Oracle DB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
  • A deep understanding of backend architecture, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
