Job Description & Responsibilities:
- Designing and programming databases to enhance existing features and new initiatives within our applications.
- Coordinating with clients to configure infrastructure required for deploying our Application at their end.
- Deploying and configuring database components of our Application at client end, including:
• Customized features required by each client
• Maintaining system, server, and application security
• Monitoring overall health of processes involved in deployment
4. Monitoring and optimizing performance at our premises and components deployed at client.
5. Providing in-house expertise and technical support on database and software-related issues.
6. Supporting our Application, Database, and Infrastructure Architecture.
7. Planning and implementing backup and recovery of databases.
8. Managing database consolidations.
9. Backing up and restoring databases.
10. Ensuring availability of system storage and planning future storage requirements for database system. Planning, setting up, and deploying High Availability Solutions.
Mandatory Requirements:
• Understanding of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS)
• 3+ years' experience with sound knowledge of SQL database
• Knowledge of TSQL (Microsoft SQL Server) is an added advantage
• Exposure to SSIS or other Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) tools
• Good working knowledge of MS-Excel, .csv, and other file systems
