We are seeking a seasoned Automation Test Engineer with expertise in UFT to join our QA team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a passion for automation and software quality.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop automated test scripts using UFT.
- Build, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks that support web and desktop application testing.
- Perform test planning, execution, and bug tracking across releases.
- Analyze automation test results, identify defects, and collaborate with developers for resolution.
- Participate in code reviews, strategy planning, and architecture decisions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure test coverage and quality standards.
- Lead or contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and best practices in test automation.

Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in UFT/QTP for test automation.
- Strong expertise in VBScript for writing automation scripts.
- Solid understanding of test automation frameworks, including modular, data-driven, and keyword-driven approaches.
- Experience in test case design, scripting, execution, and maintenance for functional and regression test suites.
- Proficient in defect lifecycle management, using tools like ALM, JIRA, or similar.
- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC processes, with prior experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- ISTQB or other QA/testing certifications are a plus.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Desirable Skills:

- Experience integrating UFT with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
- Familiarity with API testing and database validations.
- Exposure to performance testing tools or other automation tools (e.g., Selenium) is a plus.
- Working knowledge of version control tools like Git.
