Job Title: Track Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Track Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and reviewing track structures, including track beds, superstructures, rails, turnouts, concrete sleepers, and expansion joints.

The successful candidate will assist the Chief Track Design Specification Engineer in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality. They will also work closely with the project team to ensure that projects are completed successfully.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and reviewing track structures, including track beds, superstructures, rails, turnouts, concrete sleepers, and expansion joints.
  • Assisting the Chief Track Design Specification Engineer in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.
  • Working closely with the project team to ensure that projects are completed successfully.
  • Providing technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.

Requirements:

  • A graduate degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in track engineering.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work within a culturally diverse organization, recognizing and respecting differences.
  • Ability to problem-solve, especially in an integrated project delivery environment, applying industry best practices.
  • Self-motivated individual with outstanding leadership skills and the ability to influence without authority.
