Software Quality Assurance Professional

Murf AI is seeking a detail-oriented Software QA Engineer to join the team and help raise the bar on product quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare test design templates and test plans, performing hands-on testing with a natural ability to deliver results under tight deadlines.
  • Document test cases and track issues in Murf AI Studio.
  • Collaborate with Developers, product managers, support teams, and other functional team members to understand requirements and determine the required scope of testing.
  • Work with different functional groups to identify gaps, prioritize, and resolve issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields.
  • 3-4 years of experience working and testing software applications.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, ARIA, REST API, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as browser behavior.
  • Good understanding of white/black box testing, smoke testing, sanity testing, and regression testing.
  • Experience working with trackers such as Jira/Sentry/Redmine/Bugzilla/etc.
  • Ability to find the root cause of open production support tickets quickly.
  • Debugging skills, able to convey and explain bug causes as a subject matter expert.
  • Ability to influence the development team to fix backlog bugs by clearly articulating the problem.
