Renewable Energy Sales Strategist

About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned Renewable Energy Sales Strategist to spearhead our solar energy sales initiatives in the northwestern region of India. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong relationships with customers, and expanding our market presence.
Job Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead and manage a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, mentorship, and coaching to ensure they meet and exceed their targets.
- Set clear sales goals, KPIs, and performance expectations for the team, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Sales Strategy & Market Penetration:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for solar energy products, identifying new market opportunities and untapped customer segments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute regional campaigns, product promotions, and events that support sales growth.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain long-term relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solar energy solutions to ensure optimal customer satisfaction and retention.
- Foster customer loyalty by offering consistent follow-up and ensuring that customers are well-informed about product features, benefits, and services.
- Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis:
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activity to identify emerging opportunities and threats.
- Conduct detailed market analysis to assess customer behavior, pricing trends, and product demand in the northwestern region.
- Sales Forecasting & Reporting:
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts and projections for the northwestern region, identifying key opportunities and potential risks.
- Provide regular sales reports to senior management, including performance metrics, pipeline status, and strategic initiatives.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 7+ years of sales experience in the solar or renewable energy sector, with at least 3+ years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth in the solar energy sector, including experience with solar inverters, batteries, and energy storage systems.
- In-depth understanding of the solar market in West India and familiarity with the region's regulatory environment, key players, and customer needs.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA will be an added advantage for the right candidate.
