Lead Device Developer for Metered Dose Inhaler Dosage Form

Our team is seeking a highly skilled Lead Device Developer to spearhead the development of device workstream for Metered Dose Inhaler dosage form. The ideal candidate will have expertise in medical devices, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), and other simulation tools.

  • Develop and execute the device workstream strategy for Metered Dose Inhaler dosage form from device selection to regulatory submissions and commercial support
  • Support the development of injectable drug-device combination products
  • Custom design and troubleshoot delivery devices
  • Utilize aerosol testing methodologies, drug deposition modeling, and predictions, as well as familiarity with CFD and FEA tools
  • Document design history and clinical simulations
  • Build Design History File (DHF) per Design Controls, Support Documentation for combination products

For this role, we require:

  • Engineering degree in Mechanical or related field
  • Relevant experience: around 12 years in medical device development or drug delivery devices in pharmaceutical industry
  • Knowledge in medical devices / combination product development, authoring Design History file, test method development & validation
