Senior Finance Manager Position Available

As a key member of the organization, we seek an experienced and skilled Team Lead to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of 3-4 members, overseeing their day-to-day operations and resolving queries/problems
  • Understand and implement IC accounting process at Medline, including elimination logics set in Oracle FCCS
  • Review Month End activities performed by the IC team, including billing for IC transactions of US entities
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve global IC variances and post top-side entries in Oracle FCCS for high-value variances
  • Review BS reconciliation of IC GLs in detail, providing feedback and required action plans to team members
  • Timely follow-up with global Controllers on pending data/open queries and handle queries from Audit and Tax teams
  • Establish effective communication between the team and stakeholders
  • Process Improvisation: standardize IC processes, assign end-to-end activities to team members, and identify potential solutions to automate manual activities
  • Strategize plans to achieve team goals within stipulated time frames
  • IC Process Documentation & Cross Training: create improved Standard Operating Procedures and back-up layers for business continuity planning
  • Team Management: monitor team performance, document metrics, discover training needs, and provide coaching

Successful candidates will have:

  • 8+ years of work experience in Finance Controllership/Consolidations, Inter-Company Accounting
  • Thorough knowledge of Consolidations accounting principles and procedures
  • Experience handling Inter company accounting/IC ledger reviews/reconciliations etc.
  • Month end close experience is required
  • Transformation projects experience will be an asset
  • Team handling experience is required
  • End-to-end process knowledge of intercompany processes
  • Experience handling multiple stakeholders from different global regions

Additional requirements include:

  • Multiple ERP systems knowledge (SAP & QAD)
  • Consolidation Platform Experience (Oracle FCCS, Hyperion, Tagetik, Trintech etc.) - good to have
  • Excellent excel skills
  • Blackline - good to have
