Process Director Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Director to join our team. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in the field of process engineering and management.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical engineering, with a minimum of 18-20 years of experience in process departments of consultancy organizations or technical services departments of pharmaceutical, biotech, or lifesciences companies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To lead and direct process engineers in carrying out basic and detailed engineering work.
  • To perform process calculations such as heat and mass balance, utility sizing for API, OSD, and Biotech Projects.
  • To prepare process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrument diagrams (P&IDs).
  • To review all aspects of design and construction for consistency and safety, including leading Hazop and PHA reviews.
  • To ensure that project requirements and schedules are met.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of process engineering principles and practices.
  • Extensive experience in simulation software's such as HYSYS and ASPEN.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
