Job Title: Property Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Property Accountant (Development Accountant) with 5+ years of experience in U.S. property management accounting.

  • Financial Reporting & Development Accounting
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements for development projects.
  • Maintain general ledgers and ensure accurate monthly and year-end closing.
  • Handle draw accounting, including preparation and tracking of draw requests.
Responsibilities:
  • Process and approve payables, wire requests, and ensure timely disbursements.
  • Run aging reports, monitor outstanding payables, and follow up with vendors.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience in U.S. property management (development focus preferred).
  • Software Skills: Proficiency in Yardi.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills for data analysis, reporting, and reconciliations.
  • Knowledge Areas: Development accounting, draw accounting, financial statements, wire transfers, payables, and payroll processing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with U.S. stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on with all aspects of accounting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with U.S. standards.
