Database ExpertOur team is seeking a highly skilled Database Expert to lead the design and implementation of scalable database architectures.This role requires expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases, as well as experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-performance databases, optimizing database queries, and ensuring data security and compliance.Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable database architectures to support AI-driven applications.
  • Collaborate closely with our AI/Engineering teams to optimize storage, retrieval, and analytics pipelines.
  • Develop and maintain high-performance databases to handle large volumes of data.
  • Optimize database queries, indexing, and performance tuning for efficient data processing.
  • Ensure data security, compliance, backup, and disaster recovery processes are in place.
  • Build and maintain ETL pipelines to support AI/ML and analytics workflows.
  • Integrate databases with APIs, CRMs, and external systems.
  • Monitor database health, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability.
Requirements:
  • Strong proficiency in SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL etc.) and experience in NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB etc.).
  • Knowledge of vector databases is a plus.
  • Expertise in database optimization, indexing, and partitioning for improved performance.
  • Solid understanding of ETL processes, data pipelines, and data modeling for efficient data handling.
  • Experience with cloud database services and familiarity with backup, replication, and high availability strategies.
  • Strong Python/SQL scripting skills for automation and data analysis.
Nice-to-Have:
  • Experience with data warehouses and knowledge of streaming data systems.
  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML data pipelines and exposure to DevOps for databases.
  • Prior work with enterprise-scale databases handling high-volume data.
Note: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database engineering and a passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends.
