Retail Expansion Strategist

At Specsmakers, a leading optical retail chain in South India, we are seeking a seasoned Retail Expansion Strategist to spearhead our ambitious goal of adding 500+ stores to our network.
This senior leadership role will focus on identifying high-potential locations, negotiating property deals, and building a high-performing team to execute the expansion strategy across South India.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct market analysis to identify high-potential catchment areas for new store openings across South Indian markets.
- Develop expansion roadmaps by assessing market potential, demographics, and retailer networks.
- Negotiate property deals with landlords to secure prime locations.
- Collaborate with franchising teams to establish strategic partnerships.
- Oversee the development and execution of store projects, ensuring timely completion.
- Lead a team of business development managers, executives, and project management professionals.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in retail expansion, a deep understanding of South India's retail landscape, exceptional negotiation skills, strong leadership capabilities, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
