Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Concrete Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing concrete mix designs to meet project specifications, ensuring quality control throughout the concrete production process, and providing technical support to project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Mix Design Development: Develop and optimize concrete mix designs tailored to project requirements, considering factors such as strength, durability, workability, and sustainability.
- Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control procedures during the concrete production process, including raw material selection, batching, mixing, and curing.
- Testing and Analysis: Conduct laboratory and field tests on concrete samples to evaluate compressive strength, slump, air content, and setting time.
- Technical Support: Provide expert technical support to project teams and contractors, addressing any issues related to concrete production, application, or performance.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of concrete mix designs, test results, and quality control activities.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of concrete materials, mix design, and construction practices.
- Experience with concrete testing procedures and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot production issues effectively.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide clear technical guidance and support.
