Job Summary
We are looking for a seasoned professional with a minimum of 2 years of experience as an Assistant Manager or Team Leader in Housekeeping to take on this key role. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department, including supervising a team of attendants and team leaders, ensuring efficient room preparation and turnaround times, and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and train a team of housekeeping staff to ensure they meet our high standards of service and quality.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve room preparation and turnaround times, ensuring that rooms are ready for guests on time.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of housekeeping operations, including attendance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as front office and engineering, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Assistant Manager or Team Leader in Housekeeping.
- Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Hospitality or related field preferred.
