Job Overview

This role involves leading a team of insurance professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all clients receive expert advice on their insurance needs.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and present comparisons of quotes for new policies and renewals.
  • Analyze potential risks and recommend strategies to mitigate those risks.
  • Stay informed on trends and developments in the insurance industry to provide up-to-date advice.
  • Support in filing insurance claims and advise management on the process/methodology to get optimum value of the loss.
  • Prepare and analyze reports on claims performance, costs, and trends for senior management.
  • Conduct regular checks/audits of claim files to ensure quality and compliance.
Key Skills:
  • Expert knowledge of insurance matters, including covering desired risks for organizations and taking various policies.
  • Good working knowledge of day-to-day affairs of insurance matters, including updation of IRDA guidelines.
  • Sufficient knowledge of settlement of various insurance claims.
  • Good negotiation skills to get competitive premiums on non-tariff policies without compromising the risks.
  • Exposure to work closely with various insurance companies.

The ideal candidate should have an MBA/M.com with specialized knowledge and experience in insurance matters. A minimum of 20 years of experience is required.
