Senior Lecturer in Fine Arts

We are seeking an experienced educator and researcher to join our team as a Faculty Member in the Department of Fine Arts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding PhD scholars, undertaking quality research, collaborating with faculty and students, and participating in research projects funded by government departments and external agencies.

• Research Supervision: Mentor PhD scholars in Arts and Design through all stages of research proposal, coursework, data collection, publications, and thesis submission.
• Research Expertise: Conduct quality research in Fine Arts and Design with a focus on publishing in Scopus UGC-Care high-impact international journals.
• Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with faculty and students to produce research articles, books, exhibitions, and creative outputs.
• Project Leadership: Initiate, lead, and participate in research projects funded by government departments and external agencies.
• Grant Development: Develop proposals for research grants, manage projects, and deliver impactful outcomes.

• Course Delivery: Conduct PhD-level coursework classes, Research Methodology, Advanced Research Methods, and Research Ethics.
• Mentorship and Teaching: Teach and mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students (BFA, MFA) with research-led pedagogy.
• Curriculum Development: Contribute to curriculum design, research seminars, workshops, and departmental development.
• Student Support: Support student placements, exhibitions, and interdisciplinary collaborations.

• Academic Qualification: A PhD in Fine Arts or related field is mandatory.
• Professional Experience: Assistant Professor: 2-6 years of teaching, research, and industry experience post-PhD. Associate Professor: 8-10 years of teaching, research, and industry experience with a proven record of PhD supervision.
