Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Marketing Communications Professional to oversee all public relations activities and develop a comprehensive marketing strategy.

The ideal candidate will possess 4-6 years of experience in public relations, with a strong understanding of marketing communications principles and strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a marketing communications plan that aligns with business objectives
  • Build and maintain relationships with local and national media outlets
  • Manage media inquiries and interview requests, ensuring timely and effective responses
  • Create engaging content for press releases, byline articles, and keynote presentations
  • Monitor and analyze PR results on a quarterly basis, identifying areas for improvement and optimization
  • Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising, making recommendations accordingly
  • Collaborate with internal teams to leverage social media channels and engage audiences across traditional and new media
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, making informed recommendations regarding communication strategy and tactics

Requirements and Skills:

  • Proven track record of success in public relations, with a focus on marketing communications
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong relationships with both local and national media outlets
  • Experience in acting as a company spokesperson, comfortable in broadcast and print media interviews
  • Solid experience with social media platforms, including blogs, Facebook, Twitter, and others
  • BA/MA degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field
