Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement automated test frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and BDD Cucumber
  • Write clean, scalable test scripts in JavaScript, applying Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles to drive efficiency and reliability
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to understand requirements and translate them into actionable test cases
  • Perform comprehensive testing for payment applications involving Wires, SWIFT or SEPA payment schemes, identifying defects and resolving issues through close collaboration with development teams
  • Analyse test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement
  • Maintain and execute automated test suites as part of CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless integration and deployment
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives to foster a culture of innovation and growth
  • Document test strategies, plans, and results for audit and compliance purposes, upholding the highest standards of quality and integrity

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation and driving efficiency
  • Proficiency in Selenium, BDD Cucumber, and JavaScript, with strong understanding of OOP concepts and their application in test automation
  • Hands-on experience with payment schemes such as Wires, SWIFT or SEPA and payments processing engine such as OPF is desirable, along with familiarity with test management tools and version control systems
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong communication and collaboration abilities to drive success in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ISTQB or equivalent certification, demonstrating expertise in software testing and quality assurance
  • Exposure to cloud-based testing environments, with ability to adapt to new technologies and trends
