  • As a member of our team, you will collaborate with colleagues from around the world to develop and maintain the Linux kernel for Ubuntu, ensuring it is stable, secure, and performs well on various hardware configurations.
">Key Responsibilities">
  • Develop and maintain device drivers and other hardware-level system engineering components.
  • Collaborate with silicon vendors to integrate their platform support into the Ubuntu Linux kernel.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues reported by partners, customers, and the community at large.
  • Improve tooling and automation for the delivery and test of Ubuntu Linux kernels.
  • Work closely with internal and external upstream maintainers to submit, review, and apply kernel patches.

  • Strong understanding of C programming language.
  • Experience with device drivers, BSPs, and other aspects of hardware-level system engineering.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to thrive in a remote work environment.
