Business Development Executive – WordPress

We are seeking a results-driven Business Development professional to spearhead our WordPress development services. This role is centered around lead generation, proposal creation, and converting prospects into long-term clients.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a solid understanding of WordPress development to bridge the gap between technical teams and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Identify and qualify leads through platforms like Upwork and email outreach.
  • Proposal Creation: Develop accurate, technically sound proposals for WordPress projects in collaboration with technical teams.
  • Project Scoping: Work with technical teams to scope project timelines, features, and cost estimates.
  • Client Communication: Share proposals, handle queries, and follow up with leads until closure.
  • Lead Tracking: Maintain proper lead tracking and communication history in PM tools.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay informed on trends in WordPress, plugins, page builders, PHP, and related services.
  • Communication Bridge: Act as the communication bridge between clients and internal development teams.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1–3 years of experience in business development or presales for IT/web development services.
  • Solid understanding of WordPress architecture, custom development, CMS usage, plugins, and themes.
  • Basic understanding of hosting, domain configuration, or frontend/backend workflows.
  • Experience in creating technical documentation and client proposals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Familiarity with tools like ClickUp, MsTeam, and Slack.
