About the Role

We are seeking experienced developers who enjoy challenges and learning in a fast-paced environment. As a cloud application engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise to investigate issues and develop solutions to resolve them. You will have the opportunity to gain expertise in areas such as cloud infrastructure, system administration, FlexPLM application configuration, and retail business process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gain and maintain deep technical understanding of the FlexPLM application and its cloud deployment
  • Troubleshoot and investigate various aspects of the application stack (UI/Application/DB/Infra/Network) individually or as part of a team to identify root cause and ensure resolution
  • Develop technical best practices for issues
  • Join calls with other team members and customers to troubleshoot issues when required
  • Work with integrity, independence, and diligence to ensure timely resolution
Requirements
  • Technical proficiency: Linux aware, shell script capable, cloud computing awareness (AWS/Azure), proficient in Java, HTML, and JavaScript, good knowledge of SQL, basic understanding of ShellScript, database awareness (Oracle/Postgres/MS SQL Server)
  • Problem-solving: ability to diagnose issues using logs, monitoring tools, and basic coding/scripting
  • Communication: excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly and concisely
  • Learning mindset: demonstrated motivation to learn new technologies and stay updated with trends in cloud computing, databases, and systems architecture
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in developing or maintaining multi-tier applications
  • Experience with IT system administration or technical support roles, especially in cloud environments
  • Knowledge of IT networking fundamentals and security principles
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience
