Digital Content Strategist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive digital content strategy to drive engagement and growth on YouTube.
This role involves developing and executing content plans, managing the content calendar, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution. Additionally, the successful candidate will analyze audience behavior, track performance metrics, and adjust the strategy accordingly.
- Assist and own our YouTube growth strategy - focusing on subscriber growth, watch time, retention, CTR, and engagement.
- Develop and manage content calendar: frequency, formats, playlists, and uploads.
- Optimize content for YouTube SEO: metadata, titles, tags, thumbnails, descriptions.
- Run A/B testing on thumbnails, titles, and posting schedules.
- Track and analyze audience behavior + analytics to refine strategy in real time.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- 1-2 years of proven experience managing and scaling YouTube channels.
- Strong understanding of YouTube algorithms and audience behavior.
- Proficiency with YouTube Studio, Analytics, Google Trends, TubeBuddy, VidIQ.
- Balance of creative storytelling + data-driven decision making.
- Proactive, independent, and growth-focused mindset.
- Bonus: Experience with an infotainment channel.
