Job Opportunity

A 100-year-old farmer-owned cooperative seeks a Windows Systems Administrator to build and implement enterprise-class IT Compute Infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop solutions to meet organizational needs.
  • Lead teams for successful solution deployment.
  • Analyze, plan, upgrade, and support existing on-premises platforms and migrate to new ones as needed.
  • Deploy, upgrade, and migrate solutions with successful implementation.
  • Assess, analyze, and plan patch firmware deployments.
  • Manage certificates, including creation, registration, and installation on load balancing systems and servers.
  • Coordinate certificate installation and testing with internal and external resources.
  • Provide data for capacity planning and performance metrics.
  • Regularly assess and ensure each system is included in monitoring and alerting, backup and recovery, and vulnerability management processes.
  • Validate and clean up CMDB Server CI.
  • Produce process documentation, technical diagrams, runbooks, and related documentation.
Requirements:
  • 8 years of experience with Windows OS, VMware, Hyper-V, SCCM, Hyper-Converged Infrastructure, Avamar Backup Recovery.
  • Scripting experience with Ansible or PowerShell.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across teams and communicate with large groups in a professional environment.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in work priorities, incident response, and technology advancements.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
